Carbon composite starts as woven threads of fine, black carbon fiber – each fiber is about one tenth of the diameter of a human hair. All carbon fibers are merged and saturated with epoxy resin to obtain carbon composite ‘pre-preg’.
Multiple layers of carbon composite pre-preg are shaped and all pieces are laid in various directions from the one on top or below them, so as to create rigidity when the fiber hardens.
